Our Team

After looking for storage solutions for our own vehicle purchasing addictions, we opened Petrol Lounge in 2014. Since then, we’ve cared for each one of our client’s cars, sometimes enabling them to purchase more. Our team has been involved in the local and national car communities and various forms of motorsports for decades.

Jack McCauley
Co-Founder, CEO

Co-founder, visionary. Jack McCauley is a successful product director with over 10 years of experience. He is also very active in the motorsports community, and has seen a need for this business for several years. He brings expertise in market knowledge and in product execution and direction. Jack has been racing and instructing performance driving for over 15 years, and has made many strong contacts in the automotive community.

Jack rotates cars on a regular basis but is currently enjoying a Jaguar F-Type SVR and a T-bucket.

Randy Whitten
 Co-Founder, COO

Co-founder, logistics. Randy Whitten has a demonstrated excellence in managing technology-based operations. He is also active in the automotive and motorsports community and a member of both the Ferrari Owner's Club and the Porsche Owner's Club. He brings market knowledge and an expertise in client relations. 

If he’s not at the lounge, he’s at the track with various organizations from Longhorn Racing Academy to Skip Barber Racing School.

His current weekend toys include a Ferrari 348 and Morgan 3 Wheeler.

Kevin Childers
General Manager

Kevin Childers
Kevin Childers has over two decades of experience in the automotive industry, including nearly a decade in service. He grew up around cars and his family has worked on everything from modern cars all the way back to the steam tractors of a century ago. He's competed in autocross events for 20 years and has brought home a number of trophies, though a national award still eludes him. Kevin has moved on from his Miata, away from Civics, and is now obsessed with right hand drive JDM imported wagons. His current daily driver is a Nissan Stagea.

John Davis 

John Davis
John Davis has been a part of the automotive and motorsports community for over a decade. He has great inventory management skills along with providing amazing customer service to his clients. He's been competitive in autocross for multiple years, along with years of experience of providing instruction to newcomers coming into the world of motorsports. His current rides are his daily, a Toyota Corolla Hatchback, along with his weekend toy, a Porsche 911.

Stef Schrader

Automotive Journalist and Amateur Racer, Stef Schrader has covered car culture and motorsports for over a decade, reviewing the latest cars, profiling the world's coolest home-built cars, and investigating controversies within the automotive world. She currently daily drives a Mitsubishi Lancer GTS that went on track as soon as it was out of its break-in period. Since then, she has acquired two race cars, a Porsche 944 and a Volkswagen 411, which she races, breaks, fixes, and tries to race again.

Laura Harbour

Laura Harbour isn’t  one to talk about herself, but when you ask her about that one time she won a National Championship in SCCA Autocross, she’ll respond, which one?  

Five time national champ in various cars and classes.  Winner of the Editors Choice for the GRM Challenge in 2021.  She has her own collection of Miatas, Celicas, an antique tractor, and knows what it is like to maintain a collection of cars.

JC Samson is our youngest employee but has been around cars his whole life.  Despite his young age, his taste in cars consists of the classics. He and his dad spent five years restoring his 1972 Dodge Challenger which is his daily driver.  JC also has a 1998 TJ Wrangler and just picked up a 1971 Triumph TR6. He knows his way around a carburetor which is a foreign language to most veteran car enthusiasts. JC is still in school and working toward getting his degree at DBU, but when he is back on breaks, you can always find him working here, or on one of his cars.

Collin Robb

Collin Robb is an extreme sports athlete. From a very young age he has been engaged in sports not typically found through traditional athletic routes. He began his journey as a racing driver at a very young age, was National Ranked in the top 10 in karting in the U.S. multiple times, and progressed himself into cars. As a young adult he took his quick reflexes and desire for the extreme sports into indoor skydiving, working his way up to international level competitions.  He found his way to becoming the U.S. national champion in Dynamic 2-way and then competing in the world championships on the USA team. His team was ranked as a top five team around the world for indoor skydiving. These days you will find him staying hungry for the next big challenge on coaching students in racecars and continuing extreme sports.
